This campaign by the BBC to launch their new Dracula series, has rightfully earned it's place as campaign of the week this week. The mixture of creativity, materials and innovation makes it a great start for my first issue!

Meat Loaf vows to go vegan for Veganuary... but he won't rebrand
A campaign that made me chuckle this week. This was created Former Paddy Power 'PR and mischief champion' Lewis Davey, and you can tell by the approach, which is from a completely unexpected angle. What a way to take a topic that's so saturated and come in with a completely different view.
Working in an office costs you almost £2k a year, survey finds
This simple survey by Nationwide Building Society tells us how much we fork out in a lifetime on work parties, clothing, gifts for colleagues and charity donations. It's perfectly aligned with this time of year when everyone's feeling a bit blue and wants to have a grumble!
Birds Eye reveals we've been cooking potato waffles all wrong
Fantastically simple stunt that launched in the first few days back after the Christmas break. It has so far gained national coverage from the likes of Heart, Metro, The Sun and AOL. This campaign won't have taken long to execute at all, however has great results.

Non-digital PR link building methods and succesess don't get anough airtime in my view so I was pleased to read this one by Jeremy Moser.
A 10 point manifesto for the evolution of PR
This post by by Pete Mountstevens at Creative Moment is his ideal vision for PR in 2020. I have to say it would be fantastic if that vision became true, but I'm not sure how likely it is. As I'm seeing budgets tighten in the industry, I can imagine procurement departments still being as involved as they sometimes can be.
