CAMPAIGN OF THE WEEK

Dating Mark
There isn't much to say here as this has gone far and wide, even on BBC breakfast on Sunday morning, This Morning on Monday, and live interviews all over the world. Mark Rofe has certainly made me chuckle this week with his activity to find himself a date. A billboard that cost £425 has landed an outrageous amount of coverage and over 1,400 applications for dates.

Kevin Raposo on Twitter: "omg"
Kevin Raposo was one of the first to Tweet about the controversial "Press Hunt" product that riled the PR industry this week. Claiming it can help you "build relationships in your sleep" seems like a bit of an oxymoron to me. The idea that it will search for journos talking about a topic and automatically send them an email. Have a read of some of the comments on this one!
In the week we saw the downfall of Katie Hopkins and Brexit actually happened. In the PR world we saw more crazy stuff, including a scratch and sniff meat patch for vegans, and more fake jobs including a sabbatical in the Bahamas and a Hogwarts Professor.
The PR industry also had a good old-school kick-off about a tool that claims it can build relationships with journalists in your sleep. Sounds like a dangerous game!
We also had some pitching tips from two of the biggest media database companies, Roxhill and Vuelio.
Have a great week!
