I love this collaboration by KFC and Moonpig, I'm excited for the one i bought to arrive to see if it actually works. Collaborations with other brands can work really well if done right, and you'll expand the reach of your brand.

How much you need to earn to buy your first home in the most popular areas
An interesting study that made me wince this week. Zoopla looked at the top areas in the south, what a first time buyer would need to earn to buy their first home, and what their deposit would be. Coming from up north, I find it absolutely barmy that some of those figures are real.
You Can Get A Six-Foot 'Cancel My Ex' Banner For Valentine's Day
There seems to be a trend this year for Valentine's Day...first cockroaches, then rats, now we're going all in and getting banners printed to cancel your ex altogether.
I'm a fan of campaigns like this that actually incorporate the product or service offering in the campaign. This is a really clever idea from a fairly unknown brand and was annoyingly easy to do.
The most hated workplace phrases and how to avoid them
A campaign by Premier Inn got the office workforce in a tizz this week when it revealed our most hated phrases. Some of my favourites are 'touch base', 'ping an email' and 'low hanging fruit'. I hear them all the time, especially in this line of work.

Amazing work again from Buzz Bingo - they've analysed the actors most likely to be killed off in Hollywood films and created some nice simple visuals as well.

Brands are launching campaigns left, right and centre ready for the most romantic day of the year. My favourite being the KFC x Moonpig scratch and sniff card (yes, I've bought one).
There has been some great insight this week from some real experts. We have James Brokbank talking about links in Paris, and Kristin Tynski on how we can utlise Reddit better to influence our campaign ideas.
We also had two legends talking about how the industry has changed over the last two decades, well worth a watch!
